What This Connector Is
The FCI 87185-417HLF is a 17-circuit, single-row, unshrouded male header from the BergStik II series. It uses the standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch that fits breadboard, perfboard, and most 0.100"-center receptacles. The through-hole solder tails and push-pull retention make it a straightforward board-to-board interconnect — no locking latches, no shrouding to align, just a straight pin header. The contacts are phosphor bronze with 100.0 µin (2.54 µm) of tin on the mating surface, rated 5 A per circuit at 110 V.
