It uses a 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch — the standard spacing for legacy and industrial board-to-board layouts — and carries tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts rated 5 A per circuit at 110 V.
The 0.100" pitch gives enough room for routing a single trace between pads on a standard 1 oz copper board, and the 1.043" (26.49 mm) mating contact length provides a generous wipe distance for reliable contact under vibration. For environments with frequent reconnection or corrosive atmospheres, a gold-plated sibling would be the better call.
It is a common choice for internal PCB interconnects in industrial controls, test equipment, and telecom line cards where the connector is not field-mated repeatedly.
