With 16 positions loaded in two rows spaced 0.100" apart, this receptacle mates with industry-standard 0.100" square-pin headers, matching the footprint used across many Dubox™ and other header families. The 0.114" (2.90mm) post length fits through-hole board thicknesses typical of 1.6mm PCBs, with enough tail for a reliable solder fillet. Compared to the 8-position 87606-804LF or the 20-position 87606-810LF, this 16-circuit variant fills a common mid-range I/O count for control and signal interconnects.
Termination is through-hole solder, providing a robust mechanical and electrical connection to the PCB — preferred over surface-mount when the board sees vibration or the connector carries a cable strain load.
