It sits on a standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch — the same grid as DIP ICs and legacy ribbon-cable connectors — so it drops into a 0.100" footprint without custom pad layout.
Pitch, footprint, and board fit
0.100" (2.54mm) pitch and 0.100" row spacing means the 20 pins occupy a 2x10 grid that matches standard 0.100" female socket strips, IDC ribbon connectors, and BergStik-compatible shrouded headers. The overall contact length is 0.940" (23.88mm) — 0.720" (18.29mm) on the mating side and 0.120" (3.05mm) post length below the insulator.
Black insulator, no shroud — the pins are exposed, which means any 0.100" pitch female socket housing will mate, but there's no polarization or keying to prevent a misaligned plug. Push-pull fastening; no latch, no lock.
