It uses a standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch with matching 0.100" row spacing, making it footprint-compatible with a wide range of industry-standard 0.100" ribbon-cable IDC receptacles and crimp housings. The unshrouded design means the 0.820" (20.83 mm) mating pins are exposed, so the mating receptacle must provide any keying or polarization. Rated for 5 A per contact at 110 V, with a UL 94 V-0 rated black thermoplastic housing.
The 0.100" pitch and row spacing are the de facto standard for 2.54 mm board-to-board and wire-to-board interconnects — the footprint matches a huge installed base of receptacles. The 0.120" (3.05 mm) solder post length suits standard 1.6 mm thick PCBs.
