BERGSTIK II 56-Position Unshrouded Header
The unshrouded push-pull design means the header stands open on the board — no shroud to guide the mating connector, so the alignment depends on the receptacle's own lead-in. Rated 5 A per contact with gold or Gold GXT™ plating on the mating surface at 30.0 µin (0.76 µm) thickness, this is a general-purpose signal or moderate-power interconnect for board-to-board stacking applications.
The 0.100-inch pitch is the dimension that sets the PCB footprint — every through-hole pad lands on that grid, and the row-to-row spacing is also 0.100 inch, so the header occupies a 0.100 x 0.100-inch hole pattern. The 56 positions, all loaded, mean the BOM line must call for exactly 56 circuits; a 50- or 60-position receptacle won't align. The unshrouded header has no keying — the mating receptacle's own polarization features are what prevent a mis-mate.
