The 0.100-inch pitch on a 58-position, dual-row layout gives you a 29-pin-per-row footprint that's 2.900 inches long. That's a lot of board edge for a single connector — make sure your PCB has the real estate before committing. This header is built for a semi-permanent board-to-board connection where you mate it once or twice during assembly, not for frequent field service. The 0.820-inch mating pin length gives plenty of wipe for a standard receptacle, but the overall 1.040-inch length means the pins protrude well below the board — check your bottom-side clearance.
