12-Position Unshrouded Header for Board-to-Board Interconnects
The Amphenol ICC 87916-112HLF is a 12-position, single-row, unshrouded header from the BERGSTIK® II series. It uses a 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch — the standard footprint for legacy and new board-to-board designs. Rated at 5 A per contact and 110 V, it handles signal-level current and low-voltage power distribution. The mating contacts are plated with 30.0 µin of gold or GXT™ over phosphor bronze, giving it the cycle life for repeated mating in test or production fixtures.
Through-Hole Mounting and Solder Termination
This header is through-hole mounted and terminated by soldering. The 0.128" (3.25mm) post length suits standard PCB thicknesses, and the overall contact length of 1.058" (26.87mm) provides a tall profile for board stacking or wire-wrapping applications. The push-pull fastening type means it relies on the friction of the mating receptacle for retention — no locking latch, so it's best in low-vibration environments or where the board is secured by other hardware.
Flammability and Compliance
The black insulation is molded from UL94 V-0 rated material, meeting the flame-retardancy requirement for equipment inside an enclosure. The part is RoHS compliant, so it fits into current European and global assembly lines without exemption paperwork.
