The 13-position count is less common than 12 or 14, so confirm your BOM line calls out exactly 13 circuits before committing. The 0.830" (21.08mm) mating pin length gives good reach into a standard box-header or crimp-housing receptacle. Through-hole solder termination keeps the header mechanically anchored to the board — no SMT tombstone risk during reflow.
