The black UL94 V-0 rated housing and phosphor bronze contacts with a 30.0 µin gold or Gold, GXT™ mating finish give it the corrosion resistance and mating cycle life for repeated field service.
This header mates with any standard 0.100" pitch single-row receptacle housing that accepts 0.025" square pins — the BergStik II family's own female sockets or any industry-compatible IDC or crimp receptacle. The 0.830" (21.08 mm) mating pin length gives plenty of wipe for a reliable connection. Termination is through-hole solder; the 0.128" (3.25 mm) post length suits standard PCB thicknesses.
