Board-to-Board Header for Through-Hole Routing
The square pins are through-hole solder terminated, making this a direct-fit replacement for any 32-position unshrouded header on that pitch.
Selection and Fit
This is fine for low-vibration bench or panel-mount applications where the cable is strain-relieved elsewhere. Compared to a shrouded BERGSTIK II header of the same pitch, the unshrouded version saves board space around the footprint because there is no plastic shroud. The trade-off is that the pins are exposed and can be bent if the mating half is misaligned during assembly.
