The FCI BERGSTIK® II 87916-424HLF is a 24-position, single-row, unshrouded pin header on a 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch. It is a through-hole solder termination board-to-board interconnect, designed for applications where a low-cost, unkeyed header is acceptable and the mating receptacle provides its own polarization.
Rated 5 A per contact at 110 V, with a tin-on-tin contact interface — 100.0 µ" (2.54 µm) of tin on the mating side and tin on the solder post. The overall contact length is 1.058" (26.87 mm), with a mating length of 0.830" (21.08 mm) and a post length of 0.128" (3.25 mm). These dimensions matter for board stack-up: the 0.830" mating length is long enough to reach into a standard box-header receptacle, while the 0.128" post is a short tail suited for boards up to about 0.062" thick before the solder fillet is compromised.
