84-Position Board-to-Board Receptacle for Dense PCB Stacks
The 89883-442LF: The contacts are tin-plated phosphor bronze with a 78.7 µinch (2.00 µm) thickness on both the mating face and the solder tails.
With 84 positions across two rows at 0.100" pitch, this receptacle occupies a 4.2-inch board edge footprint (84 × 0.100"). The 0.100" row spacing keeps the dual-row layout compact — the overall width across both rows is 0.200" plus the housing walls. For comparison, a 50-position Dubox receptacle of the same pitch would span 2.5 inches, so the 84-position version is the densest option in the series for high-I/O board stacks. The 0.114" (2.90 mm) post length is standard for through-hole soldering on typical 1.6 mm PCBs — the post protrudes enough for a reliable solder fillet without excessive tail length that could short to adjacent traces.
Packaging is tube. It is not offered in tape-and-reel format — the through-hole right-angle body does not suit automated pick-and-place reels. For volume orders, tube quantities are confirmed at RFQ.
