Board Fit and Routing Reality
The shrouded 1-wall design gives the pins some mechanical protection during mating, but the open side still exposes the contacts to the board edge — keep the keep-out zone clear of components on that side.
Current, Plating, and Contact Life
At 2 A the temperature rise stays inside the UL94 V-0 thermoplastic housing's safe envelope. The mating interface carries 30.0 µinch gold GXT™ over nickel — that's a field-service-grade plating. In a connector that sees quarterly disconnect/reconnect, the contact interface will outlast the product's service life without fretting corrosion.
Mating Half and Latch Security
This header mates with the Minitek® receptacle housing (crimp-terminated female contacts). For a 4-position wire-to-board connection in a moving assembly, that latch is the difference between a reliable link and a field return.
The 91269 family covers 3 to 10 positions with identical pitch, plating, and latch. The 4-position (104LF) is a common size for sensor/actuator harnesses. If the BOM calls for 5 positions, the 91269-105LF is a drop-in replacement with the same footprint length scaling — same right-angle through-hole, same gold GXT™ contacts, same latch holder. The 3-position (103LF) and 10-position (110LF) bookend the range.
