The gold-plated brass body and beryllium copper center contact with gold plating support 500 mating cycles with stable contact resistance.
This jack accepts RG-174, RG-188, RG-188A, RG-316, LMR-100, and M17/119-RG174 cables — the most common small-diameter coax types for short-run RF interconnects. The center contact is solder-terminated; the shield is crimped using the included ferrule. The kit ships with one connector, one contact, one ferrule, one lockwasher, and one nut — everything needed for a single cable assembly except the cable and solder.
Mounting and RF Performance
Mounts through a panel bulkhead with a front-side nut — the lockwasher prevents loosening under vibration. The PTFE dielectric keeps insertion loss to 0.1 dB across the DC-to-6 GHz band, making it suitable for sensitive receive paths or low-power transmit stages. The snap-on interface is keyed to the MCX standard; it mates with any standard MCX plug.
