This plug is pre-sized for RG-178 coax. The contact is solder-terminated to the center conductor; the shield is crimped via the included ferrule.
200 Mating Cycles — Snap-On Retention
Rated for 200 mating cycles with a snap-on fastening mechanism. That cycle count is typical for a field-service or test-equipment RF interconnect — the gold-on-gold contact interface resists fretting corrosion through repeated connects, but the snap-on detent spring will eventually wear. For a permanent-install harness the cycle life is generous; for a daily-docked production test fixture, plan for periodic connector replacement.
