BERGSTIK® II Unshrouded Header, 18 Positions
It uses the industry-standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch on both the pin-to-pin and row-to-row spacing, making it a drop-in fit for any board laid out on that grid. It carries a 5A per-contact current rating, typical for a tin-plated square pin at this pitch, with the current limited by temperature rise through the UL94 V-0 rated black housing.
The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch is the defining dimension — it sets the board footprint and determines which mating receptacles are compatible. Any standard 0.100" pitch IDC or crimp receptacle will mate. The 5A rating applies per contact at room ambient; derate for elevated operating temperatures inside an enclosure. The 100.0µin (2.54µm) tin plating on the mating side is a heavy-duty tin finish — good for a few dozen mating cycles in a clean, indoor environment, but not for frequent field reconnects where gold plating would be preferred. The 0.110" (2.79mm) solder tail length suits standard 1/16" (1.6mm) PCBs; verify the board thickness against the post length for a proper through-hole solder joint.
