Header Overview
It uses a 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch on both rows and between rows, a standard footprint that matches legacy 0.100" grid layouts.
Contact Plating and Duty
Tin is a workable choice for moderate mating cycles — it cold-welds under high normal force and can frett in high-vibration environments, but for typical board-to-board or wire-to-board applications inside an enclosure it holds up well. The 100 µ" thickness gives a thicker wear layer than standard 30–50 µ" tin, extending the usable cycle count before the base phosphor bronze shows.
Mechanical and Compliance
The overall contact length is 0.530" (13.46mm), with a mating section of 0.320" (8.13mm) and a solder post of 0.110" (2.79mm). The insulation height sits at 0.100" (2.54mm) above the board. All 26 positions are loaded — no skipped or optional pins.
