Board-to-Board Header for Dense Signal Interconnects
The Amphenol 92417-462HLF is a 62-position, dual-row, unshrouded BergStik® II header designed for board-to-board signal interconnect. All 62 positions are loaded, giving you a full 31 contacts per row for dense parallel or perpendicular board stacking. The black insulation colour is standard for BergStik II headers and helps with visual polarity checks during assembly.
Tin Plating and Contact Design
The contacts are square-profile male pins made from phosphor bronze — a standard spring-grade alloy that resists stress relaxation over temperature cycles. The overall contact length is 0.530" (13.46 mm), with a mating length of 0.320" (8.13 mm) and a post length of 0.110" (2.79 mm). The short post length suits boards where the header sits close to the opposite-side components or where the solder tail must not protrude far past the board.
Mating and Board Stacking
The dual-row, 62-position layout means the header spans about 3.1" along the board (31 positions per row at 0.100" pitch). Plan for that footprint when laying out the board edge or adjacent components.
