It uses a 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch on both the mating interface and row spacing, making it a direct footprint match for standard 0.100" grid prototyping and production boards.
Fit and footprint notes
The unshrouded male pin header means the board footprint is just the two rows of 0.025" square pins on 0.100" centers — no extra keep-out for a shroud wall. The 0.318" mating pin length and 0.318" post length are equal, so the header can be used as a mezzanine stacking connector with a matching receptacle that has a similar tail length. The 0.190" (4.83 mm) insulator height leaves clearance under the body for trace routing on the top layer.
