Board-to-Board Header for High-Density Through-Hole Interconnects
The FCI 92634-172HLF is a 72-position unshrouded male pin header from the BERGSTIK® II series, arranged in two rows on a standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch. This right-angle through-hole connector is designed for board-to-board applications where the header sits flush to the PCB edge and mates with a matching receptacle parallel to the board surface. The 72 circuits — 36 per row — pack a high number of signal or low-power connections into a single connector footprint, making it suited for backplane, mezzanine, or card-edge interconnect in industrial control, telecom, and test equipment.
At 5A per contact, this header handles signal-level power distribution — logic rails, low-current device feeds, and control signals — but not bus-level power.
