The FCI 92634-408HLF is an 8-position, dual-row, unshrouded male pin header from the BERGSTIK® II series. It uses a 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch on both rows and mates with standard 0.100" pitch receptacle connectors. The right-angle through-hole termination routes the pins parallel to the board, which suits compact enclosures where the cable exits along the PCB edge. Tin plating on both the mating and post surfaces keeps the cost down for applications that do not require high mating-cycle life.
The unshrouded design gives the board builder flexibility to use standard 0.100" pitch receptacles, but it provides no polarization or keying — the mating connector must be aligned correctly during assembly. The UL94 V-0 rated black housing is suitable for equipment inside an enclosure requiring flame rating. The 0.318" (8.08 mm) mating pin length and 0.318" post length give enough standoff for typical 0.062" to 0.093" thick PCBs.
