Board Layout Fit and Series Position
It uses the standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch on both the mating interface and the row-to-row spacing, which means it lands on a 0.100" x 0.100" through-hole grid — a direct footprint match for legacy DIP-style layouts and common IDC ribbon cable receptacles. All 38 positions are loaded with square male pins in phosphor bronze, finished with 100.0µin (2.54µm) of tin on the mating side and tin on the solder tails.
For vibration-prone environments, a shrouded header or a secondary locking mechanism on the receptacle side would be needed.
