QMA Snap-On Plug for RG-405 Semi-Rigid, 6 GHz
It uses a snap-on fastening mechanism for quick, tool-less mating in dense RF assemblies where a threaded SMA would be awkward to torque. Rated to 6 GHz at 50 Ohm impedance, it covers L-band through mid-C-band — suitable for cellular backhaul, test interconnects, and antenna feeds that don't need the full DC-to-18 GHz range of an SMA.
Cable Fit and Termination — RG-405 Only
This plug is built specifically for RG-405 (.085" semi-rigid) cable. Do not use it with flexible coax; the centre pin and dielectric bore are sized for the 0.085" outer diameter of semi-rigid.
Voltage and Mating Cycles — What the Ratings Mean
Rated 480 V. 100 mating cycles — typical for a snap-on QMA interface.
