The Amphenol BERGSTIK® 93690-103-12LF is a 12-position, dual-row unshrouded breakaway header on the standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch. It's a board-to-board or cable interconnect — the unshrouded square pins let you mate it with a wide range of receptacle housings or directly with crimp terminals in a wire housing. All 12 positions are loaded, so there's no breakaway snap-off needed before assembly. Rated 5 A per contact at 110 V, with a gold GXT™ finish (30.0 µin) on the mating side and a tin finish (39.4 µin) on the solder post. The GXT layer — gold over palladium-nickel — is harder than straight gold, so it holds up better to repeated mating in a prototyping or production test fixture. The through-hole termination accepts both press-fit and solder assembly, which gives the board assembler flexibility depending on the wave-solder or press-fit tooling available on the line. The housing is black thermoplastic rated UL94 V-0, and the overall contact length of 0.505" (12.83 mm) means the pin protrudes 0.224" (5.70 mm) above the insulation for a solid wipe length when mated.
