Product Introduction
It uses a 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch on both rows and is rated at 5 A per circuit with a voltage rating of 110 V. The mating interface carries a gold, GXT™ plating (30.0 µinch), while the solder tails are tin-plated. This unshrouded header uses a push-pull fastening system and is terminated via press-fit or solder through-hole. The black thermoplastic housing is rated UL94 V-0.
The 5 A per-circuit rating is typical for a signal-level header on a 2.54 mm pitch — at full load across all 30 positions, the total current through the connector is 150 A, but the temperature rise in the centre of the array will be higher than at the edges. Derate for ambient temperatures above 25 °C if running near the limit across multiple adjacent pins. The press-fit termination option allows solderless assembly, which can reduce process steps and simplify rework in high-reliability backplane builds.
