It uses 0.100" (2.54mm) square-pin mating pitch on both rows and row spacing, giving you a standard footprint that matches legacy 0.100" grid layouts.
Rated 5A per contact, with gold GXT™ plating on the mating interface at 30.0µin (0.76µm) thickness and tin on the solder post at 39.4µin (1.00µm). Termination is through-hole with press-fit or solder options — the 0.177" (4.50mm) post length gives enough stand-off for a clean solder fillet on a standard 1.6mm board. Overall contact length is 0.608" (15.44mm), with a 0.327" (8.30mm) mating tail.
This header is suited for internal board-to-board or cable-to-board interconnects where you need a breakaway option to match circuit counts. Typical environments include industrial control panels, test equipment, and consumer electronics where the 5A per contact is enough for signal and moderate power lines. The push-pull fastening keeps insertion force low during assembly, but the header alone doesn't provide vibration lock; a mating housing with a latch or friction lock is recommended for high-vibration applications.
