The Amphenol FCI 93690-105-60LF is a 60-position dual-row unshrouded breakaway header from the BERGSTIK series, on the standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch.
The 0.100" pitch and 0.100" row spacing match the industry-standard footprint for 2.54 mm grid prototyping and backplane layouts — no special pad geometry needed. The through-hole mounting with 0.177" (4.50 mm) post length gives a solid mechanical anchor in the PCB, and the UL94 V-0 black thermoplastic housing meets the flammability requirement for equipment inside an enclosure.
Termination and assembly flexibility
The press-fit option is useful for backplane assemblies where you want to avoid the thermal stress of wave soldering and need a rework-friendly connection. The square male pins (0.025" square typical for the BERGSTIK series) mate with standard 0.100" pitch receptacle housings and crimp terminals — a common mating half is the Amphenol FCI 71600 series or equivalent dual-row socket strip.
