The Amphenol 93939-462HLF is a 62-position, dual-row unshrouded header from the BERGSTIK® II series, on a 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch. It is a board-to-board interconnect — a male pin header that mates with a matching female socket strip.
Rated 5 A per contact at 110 V, with tin-on-tin plating — 100.0 µin (2.54 µm) of tin on the mating interface and tin on the solder tails. Tin plating is the standard choice for cost-sensitive, low-mating-cycle applications; it gives a solid connection at first mate but does not handle the repeated insertion and extraction that gold does. For a header that gets mated once and stays, the tin interface is fine — the 5 A per circuit is real current capacity, not a derated signal rating. Phosphor bronze contacts give a spring-grade material that holds contact force over temperature cycles. In a high-vibration environment that matters: without a locking ramp, the header and its mating socket need additional board support or a secondary retention method.
It is a standard catalog BERGSTIK® II part, not a phase-out or broker-only line.
