This unshrouded header mates with standard 2.54mm pitch receptacles — the 0.232" (5.90mm) mating pin length provides sufficient wipe for reliable contact with most IDC or crimp-style sockets.
The unshrouded push-pull fastening provides no positive locking latch. For applications with continuous vibration, a shrouded header with a locking ramp or a secondary board-mount retention method is recommended.
