20-Position Breakaway Header for Board-to-Board Stacking
The 95278-801A20LF: The tin-plated post (78.7 µin) is what the solder joint sees; the gold is on the business end. That flame rating matters when the header sits inside enclosed equipment where a fault arc could ignite the board.
Surface-mount termination with a pick-and-place feature means this header is tape-and-reel packaged for automated assembly. The push-pull fastening type and unshrouded design keep the mating force low — you can hand-mate it without tools.
The tape-and-reel package (cut tape also available) suits both prototype and production volumes.
The 20-position 95278-801A20LF shares the same 0.100" pitch, dual-row layout, gold GXT™ mating finish (15.0 µin), and SMT termination as the 8-position 95278-801A08LF. The only difference is the pin count — 20 positions vs 8 — so the footprint length scales accordingly. That extra gold buys roughly double the rated cycles in a corrosive environment.
