Surface mount termination with pick-and-place compatible packaging (tube) — the part is designed for reflow assembly, and the flat SMT tails sit coplanar to the board surface. No through-hole posts to interfere with backside routing.

Mating Contact Finish and Cycle Life

The post finish is tin-lead (150 µinch), which is a legacy solderable finish — not RoHS-compliant by today's standards. If the board assembly requires a lead-free process, the tin-lead tails will need a compatible solder paste or a rework step.
