Pick-and-place ready for SMT assembly
The part ships on Tape & Reel (TR) and includes a Pick and Place feature — the flat top surface of the header body gives the vacuum nozzle a consistent pick point. No special handling required on a standard SMT line.
Breakaway design for flexible circuit count
The unshrouded design gives the mating receptacle direct access to the square pins, with no polarisation key to align. Mating pin length is 0.315" (8.00 mm), which provides enough engagement for standard 0.100" pitch socket strips without bottoming out.
