32-Position Unshrouded Header for Board-to-Board Interconnects
The FCI 95687-132HLF is a 32-position, dual-row unshrouded header from the BERGSTIK® II series, designed for board-to-board applications. It uses a standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch on both the mating interface and the row spacing, making it a drop-in fit for legacy and new PCB layouts that require a 32-circuit connection. Rated at 5 A per contact and 110 V, it handles signal and low-power duty across a wide range of internal equipment interconnects.
Contact Plating and Mating Reliability
The mating contacts carry a 30.0 µin (0.76 µm) gold or GXT™ finish over phosphor bronze base material. That plating thickness — 30.0 µin — is a solid industrial-grade choice, good for hundreds of mating cycles in a clean environment without the contact resistance drift you see with thinner flash gold. The unshrouded, push-pull design means there is no keying or polarization built into the header itself; orientation and alignment are the board layout's responsibility.
Through-Hole Termination and Board Fit
Termination is through-hole solder with a post length of 0.360" (9.14 mm) and an overall contact length of 0.820" (20.83 mm). The 0.360" post clears a standard PCB and leaves a solid solder fillet on the bottom side. The insulation height matches the mating pitch at 0.100" (2.54 mm), which keeps the mated stack height predictable for mezzanine spacing.
