Board-to-board header, 40 circuits, 0.100" pitch
It uses 0.100" (2.54 mm) square male pins on a matching 0.100" row spacing, through-hole soldered. The 30.0 µin (0.76 µm) gold or GXT™ plating on the mating interface supports repeated mating cycles without fretting corrosion — a common failure point on tin-plated headers in field-service applications.
Rated 5 A per circuit at 110 V, which is typical for signal-level board interconnect — the limiting factor is the pin density and the 0.100" pitch, not the contact itself. The UL94 V-0 black insulator means the header can be used inside equipment enclosures requiring a flame rating.
