20-Position Unshrouded Header for Standard Grid Layouts
It sits on the standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch, making it a direct fit for prototyping boards and production PCBs laid out on the common 0.100" grid. The unshrouded design gives you access to the pins for probing or wire wrapping, but leaves the contacts exposed — so it's best suited for internal board-to-board connections where the mated pair won't see physical abuse during service.
Tin Plating and Current Capacity
The 5A per pin is a per-contact limit; in a dual-row 20-position header, the total current through the connector depends on how many pins carry power and how evenly you load them. For signal lines, the current rating is rarely the constraint — the 0.100" pitch and 0.100" insulation height give enough creepage for the 110V rating without crowding the board.
Mating and Board Fit
This is a male pin header with square posts, push-pull fastening, and a 0.360" mating length.
