2 A, 200 V signal header with shrouded latching
The 98414-S08-08LF is the 8-circuit member of Amphenol ICC's Minitek® 2.00mm header line, rated 2 A and 200 V for board-to-board or cable signal duty. Gold GXT™ plating on the mating contacts and a shrouded 4-wall housing with latch holder and keying slot reduce mis-mate risk in multi-connector panels.
Shrouded housing and latch retention
The 4-wall shroud protects the male pins during handling and guides the mating receptacle into alignment; the latch holder locks the pair together against vibration. A keying slot in the housing prevents cross-mating with non-keyed receptacles — useful when several Minitek 2.00mm connectors sit side by side on the same board. The thermoplastic insulation carries a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
