Board Fit and Routing — 1.00 mm Pitch, Right-Angle SMT
The F52R-1A7H1-11004: The 2.00 mm height above board is tight enough for low-profile enclosures but leaves room for the ZIF actuator flip. Solder retention pads anchor the connector body during reflow and take the shear load from the cable — no through-hole hold-downs needed.
Current, Cycles, and Contact Finish — Signal-Duty Reality
The gold flash (1.97 µinch over phosphor bronze) keeps contact resistance stable across 30 mating cycles, but the thin plating means it is not built for frequent reconnects. In a product that sees the FPC inserted once at assembly and maybe swapped during field service, that is adequate. The slide lock holds the ZIF actuator closed under vibration — the actuator does not rely on friction alone to keep the FPC seated.
RoHS compliant.
Peer Comparison — Same Footprint, More Positions
The F52R-1A7H1-11004 is the 4-position member of the F52R-1A7H1 base number. If your BOM calls for more I/O, the footprint scales by adding contact pads at the same pitch; the connector body length grows accordingly.
