Board-Mount D-Sub for Control Panels and I/O
The Amphenol L77SDEG09SOL2RM5 is a 9-position D-Sub receptacle from the SD series, configured as a vertical through-hole female socket with board locks. It uses a stamped phosphor bronze contact with gold flash plating — enough for routine mating in a panel or test fixture, not a high-cycle field-service connector. The steel shell is tin-plated for EMI continuity when mated to a conductive panel or a matching D-Sub plug. The board-side flange accepts an M3 screw for panel-mount retention.
The 3 A per-contact rating is the practical ceiling for signal and low-power control circuits — think PLC I/O, sensor interfaces, or serial data links. At 250 V, the voltage rating is generous for these duties; the current limit is what governs the wire gauge and circuit count on the board. Without it, the solder joints carry the full mechanical load — the lock takes that off the pins.
