The MUSBD11135 is the 4-contact USB-B receptacle in Amphenol ICC's MUSB series, rated IP67 when mated with the matching plug — the flange and gasket seal the panel cutout, not the unmated connector face. Gold-plated contacts and 1500 mating cycles support repeated field disconnect duty; the shielded shell and UL94 V-0 housing suit equipment enclosures requiring ingress and flame protection across -40°C to 105°C.
IP67 only when mated — cap the open half
The IP67 rating on the MUSBD11135 applies to the mated pair — the receptacle alone does not seal the panel opening when unmated. A protective cap is needed to maintain the dust-tight and waterproof rating between service intervals.
