Mounting and termination — SMT and through-hole in one body
The mounting type lists both surface mount and through-hole, which is unusual for an RF jack. That dual-mount support means the same part can be hand-soldered into a prototype board or reflowed in a production run — the through-hole legs provide mechanical anchor while the SMT pads handle the ground plane connection. The body is gold-plated brass; the centre contact is gold-plated brass over a PEEK dielectric. Gold on both the body and centre pin avoids corrosion in humid or salt-spray environments.
