3.5mm mono jack with M6 thread lock
The MJ-3502 is CUI Devices' 3.50 mm mono phone jack, female, with a right-angle panel-mount body that secures through a 0.236" (5.99 mm) panel hole using the included M6 nut and thread-lock hardware. Rated 1 A at 12 VDC, the jack carries silver-plated brass and phosphor bronze contacts inside a polyoxymethylene (POM) housing, with a single internal switch that opens on plug insertion.
Termination and panel fit
Termination is solder eyelet — the centre conductor, ring, and switch tabs are hand-solderable after the jack is fastened to the panel. The unshielded brass body and black/silver finish suit chassis-mount audio inputs where a threaded M6 lock ring provides mechanical retention against cable pull. The actual contact diameter is 0.142" (3.60 mm), accepting standard 3.50 mm (1/8") mini plugs. Operating temperature spans -20°C to 85°C.
