3.5 mm mono plug with strain relief
The MP3-3501 is a 2-conductor mono phone plug from CUI Devices, built for 3.50 mm (1/8") headphone jacks, rated 1 A at 6 VDC. Nickel-plated brass contacts, solder termination, and a free-hanging body with a strain relief handle — no internal switch, no shielding.
Position within the CUI Devices phone plug family
The MP3-3501 shares the 3.50 mm industry-recognized mating diameter with the MP-3521, but the MP-3521 is rated 12 VDC and lacks the strain relief and handle — the MP3-3501 includes both. The MP-2511 uses a 2.50 mm diameter plug, the MP-6320 a 6.35 mm (1/4") plug — neither shares the 3.50 mm form factor of the MP3-3501.
