3.5 mm stereo jack for SMD board-edge mounting
The SJ-3524-SMT-TR-PI is the pink-housing member of CUI Devices' SJ series 3.50 mm phone jack family, accepting a standard 3.5 mm (1/8") mini plug stereo TRS. Rated 1 A at 12 VDC, the unshielded jack carries a single internal switch and silver-plated brass/copper alloy contacts.
Positioning within the SJ series
The SJ-3524-SMT-TR-PI shares the same 3.50 mm mating diameter, 0.551" (14.00 mm) mating depth, and board-guide feature with the black-housing SJ-3524-SMT-TR and the blue-housing SJ-3524-SMT-TR-BE — the only difference is housing colour. For designs that do not require the internal switch, the SJ-3523-SMT-TR (3 contacts, no switch) is the same pitch and footprint.
