The SJ1-3555NG is the 5-contact member of CUI Devices' SJ1 phone jack line, accepting a standard 3.50 mm mini plug for stereo audio. Rated 1 A at 12 VDC, the jack uses tin-plated brass and copper alloy contacts with two internal switches, and mounts through-hole right-angle with kinked pins.

Within the SJ1 series the SJ1-3555NG carries two internal switches, matching the SJ1-3545N — the SJ1-3554NG carries a single switch, and the SJ1-3543 has no switch. All share the same 3.50 mm mating diameter and 0.551" (14.00 mm) mating depth.
