Sealed 2-Pin Receptacle for Harness Builds
The housing is molded in natural glass-filled PBT.
At a 5.00 mm pitch, this 2-position receptacle provides generous creepage and clearance for power-level circuits. The 2-position count is the minimum for a sealed inline connection — often used for sensor power/ground pairs or low-current actuator feeds.
Sealing and Environmental Duty
The JIS C 0920 Grade Level 7 rating means the mated pair is protected against temporary submersion. This is not a splash-proof rating — it is a genuine submersion spec, so the connector is suited for engine compartments, outdoor lighting, marine electronics, and washdown-area harnesses. The latch lock fastening type keeps the housing mated under vibration, preventing the seal from breaking open.
The housing accepts the crimped contacts and the latch lock secures them in place. For a full mated assembly, the matching WPJ series male header (pin header) is required as the mating half. The free-hanging mounting type means this receptacle is intended for inline cable-to-cable or cable-to-device connections, not for PCB mounting.
