The JST 09DB-6S(LF) is a 9-position IDC connector from the DB series, designed for discrete wire-to-board termination. The press-fit through-hole mounting means no solder is required at the board interface; the compliant pin deforms into the plated hole, giving a gas-tight connection that survives rework cycles without desoldering damage. Cable termination is IDC — the insulation is displaced by the contact tines as the cover is pressed down, making contact with the conductor without stripping.
