ZIF Actuation and Retention
Zero insertion force with a slide lock — the actuator slides to clamp the FFC tail without bending the contacts. The slide lock holds the FFC in place under vibration; it is a positive retention mechanism, not a friction fit. The mating FFC tail must be tapered per the cable end type spec for proper insertion depth. The PA6T housing handles the 260°C peak reflow temperature typical for lead-free solder profiles.
