The 13FMN-SMT-A-TF(LF)(SN) is the 13-circuit member of JST's FMN series of FFC connectors. It carries tin-plated contacts rated 0.5 A at 50 V and mounts surface-mount right-angle with solder termination.

LIF actuation and FFC thickness

The connector uses a low insertion force (LIF) mechanism that accepts 0.30 mm thick FFC — the contact beam wipes the pad on insertion without requiring a secondary lock. Contact side is top, which means the exposed pads on the FFC face upward when the cable end is straight.
