13-position IDC receptacle for 1.50 mm pitch discrete-wire harnesses
The JST 13ZR-8M-P(P) is a 13-position single-row receptacle from the ZR series, terminated via IDC to 28 AWG discrete wire. The green housing with closed-end construction prevents wire over-insertion and keeps the IDC slot aligned to the conductor. Tin-plated female sockets are rated for the signal-level currents typical of internal wiring in consumer electronics, office equipment, and appliance control boards.
IDC termination — tooling and wire prep
Termination is IDC — no stripping, no crimping. A standard hand or pneumatic IDC press with the correct ZR-series die set is required. The closed-end housing acts as a wire stop, so the insertion depth is self-limiting. The 1.50 mm pitch means the ribbon or discrete wires must be on that same centerline spacing for the IDC slots to align.
